Need some help with our website?
Friday, 09 January 2009 13:02

It's annoying isn't it? You just want to work your way around our website and then suddenly nothing works the way it should.

Well, there are a few things you need to check first...

What browser are you using?

This website is designed and tested to work with the following web browers;

    * Mozilla Firefox 2 and 3
    * MS Internet Explorer 7 and 8
    * Apple Safari
    * Mozilla Camino
    * Opera

You'd be surprised how many problems with our website are caused by people using Internet Explorer 6. IE6 is a very outdated browser that is not designed to work with modern websites and web-based applications. It has been superceded by two whole versions since it was released, plus there have been dozens of updates to it since then as well. Before you ask us to fix something that doesn't work for you, please make sure you are using one of the browsers above. If you need to download the new version of Internet Explorer, click here.

Spelling errors and typos

We're all human and sometimes in our hurry to get something online as soon as possible for you, a typo or spelling mistake may be missed. If you notice any, just email us; This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Incorrect Information

Again, we are sometimes in a hurry and may miss an important detail in an article. Please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it if you spot an article with incorrect information.

Problems with myRADIOplace

myRADIOplace is run by us using an external media network provider. Sometimes they may have service issues that we have no control over. However, if you are concerned about he content in myRADIOplace, please do not hesitate to email us; This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Problems with your login or password

You may have signed up with our website quite a while ago and simply forgotten your username or password... or both! As long as you can remember your email address that you signed up with, just go to the myRADIOplace menu and select "Password Reminder" to submit an automated request to get your username or password sent to you. If all else fails and you just simply don't know what's gone wrong, just email us; This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

I never got the confirmation email!

By far the biggest problem we can sometimes get is that when you sign-up for our website, you never get your confirmation email from us and you never get to log in. Don't worry! You have done nothing wrong. Sometimes email services, particularly Hotmail and Yahoo, can get a little too trigger-happy and flag our automated confirmation email as spam. Often if you're using a government email address, Telstra or large corporate email account, the same thing happens. Those pesky SPAM filters your company has set up get a little too carried away with calling everything SPAM. It's not spam, it's information you need, but the email system doesn't know that! Your first port of call is to your spam-box or spam filter of your email service or your email software. You will, 9 times out of 10, find our email in there. If you still can't find that email, then email us; This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we'll send you your confirmation and complete the process for you.
